Masters of Mobile: APAC Report

The research explores the current state of mobile UX in the region and highlights the need for speedy, seamless mobile experiences.

Here’s the latest research on mobile site performance across the most-visited 700 sites from 12 countries across Asia-Pacific released on Think with Google site recently.

Called ā€˜Masters of Mobileā€™, the research explores the current state of mobile UX in the region and highlights the need for speedy, seamless mobile experiences.

Hereā€™s an overview of the key findings.

  1. Mobile sites in Asia-Pacific meet industry best practices in only two out of five mobile consumer touch points (product pages and mobile design).
  2. Conversions drop 20% for every second of delay in mobile page load time – and all countries we surveyed have mobile site load times slower than the recommended 3 seconds. China has the fastest load times of the region at 5.4 seconds.
  3. The report also names the top 3 sites brands from each of the countries across 3 industries: Travel, Retail and Financial Services.
  4. We have identified six simple steps Asia-Pacific brands can take to consistently deliver speedy, seamless mobile experiences.
