CxOCON 2019: The Business Influencer Conference

Create awareness and to capture the attention of Malaysians who wants to bring their business to the next level by telling their stories through social media scene.

PopCon Introduces a New Era of Brand Building via CxOCON

PopCon presents its first CxO Conference, a conference targeted specifically towards C-Level Executives, Company Directors, Founders, and Business Owners. The conference aims to share with company leaders the significance of assuming the role of a Thought Leader and provide valuable insider knowledge and skills regarding how to do so.

If you’ve not heard of PopCon, it is an online media company that aims to create a community of brands, marketers, influencers, and online content creators to engage in learning, idea-sharing, and project collaborations. Every quarter, PopCon makes it their mission to hold talks, workshops, and gatherings to educate businesses and content creators on digital marketing strategies, social media tips and hacks, and the latest industry insights and trends.

Brands are fighting to stand out on social media, but the key that will put you ahead of your competitors lies with your CEO.

Did you know that your reputation directly impacts 44% of your company’s market value? Despite this fact, 61% of CEOs are not active on social media and that is actually a huge risk for their businesses.

You are the Chief Reputation Officer of your company.

You are responsible for building your company’s credibility, reputation, and market value. The best and most immediate way for you to do that is through social media.

Social media is an essential medium to communicate and engage with the company’s stakeholders, followers and employees. The hindrance to the growth of Social CEOs is that a total of 61% of CEOs don’t understand the importance of having a presence on social media, and the advantages that it brings to their brand. PopCon is looking forward to changing that with their CxO Conference as business trends are changing.

As a CEO, you might think it’s unsuitable for people who want to build serious businesses. You might think it takes too much effort. You might think you have nothing to share and that people will judge you for that. You might be surprised.

People don’t follow brands. People follow people. Your audience would be more reassured if they could match a face to the brand they’re following and supporting.

Like Tony Fernandes does for AirAsia, Social CEOs help to humanise their brand, building brand value and growing their customer base in the process.

What people want from CEOs is their experience. They want industry knowledge and insights. Perhaps there are people out there looking to start their own businesses. They want someone to look up to, someone to guide them and give them the advice to overcome challenges.

More than 15 passionate speakers are participating to aid PopCon’s efforts in transforming CEOs into Thought Leader Influencers of their company, featuring Thresa Thain from Twitter, Dr A.J. Minaj––a two-time TEDx speaker, and Roberto Cumuraswamy––a CMO and content creators, Derrick Chew – Founder of Hyde & Co, Sinan Ismail – CEO of Digital Durian, Raja Jesrina – Founder of PurelyB. They will be covering a variety of topics, ranging from Ways Social Media can help CEOs create their executive presence in the digital landscape and promote their company to enjoy a distinct competitive advantage.

Is there pressure for tomorrow’s CEOs to adapt or risk alienating their target consumers? Definitely.

Attendees will be meeting and networking with industry experts, thought leaders, and creators willing to share insightful skills and knowledge that will help the attendees kick start their incredible journey as a Social CEO. A new era of brand building is on the horizon, and PopCon wants to build the bridge that leads the industry there.

Believing that CxOCON will be a game-changer for the Malaysian business scene, Popcon has appointed NSE to be their social media partner. With NSE being on board, our aim is to create awareness and to capture the attention of Malaysians who wants to bring their business to the next level by telling their stories through social media scene.

The CxOCon takes place on the 27th and 28th of August, to be held at The Gallery in Oasis Village, Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
