In celebration of World Emoji Day, Adobe has released their first ever Emoji Trend report, surveying 1,000 frequent emoji users to shed light on what today’s emoji users think when using these picture characters for communication. With the results, it’s no wonder that emojis can definitely add a blip of colour and fun to everything! 🎨
Here are the other findings from the report:
- Emoji users’ top three favorite emojis are 😂 (#1), ❤ (#2), 😘 (#3)
- 58% of emoji users are more likely to open an email from a brand that has an emoji in the subject line
- 44% of emoji users are more likely to purchase products advertised using emojis
- Majority of emoji users (64%) are willing to make a purchase with an emoji
