PRecious Communications has three unique practices in place: Inc. (Business-to-Business), Life (Business-to-Consumer) and Sparks (Innovation-and-Startup). In 2019, the 7-year-old consultancy picked up 15 awards across various categories, acknowledging their people, client campaigns and growth as an agency in Southeast Asia. These accolades recognise PRecious’ work on helping brands that range from early-stage start-ups to regional SMEs and global Fortune 500 brands, to deliver impactful stories to their audience.

“PRecious Communications is all about people with a clear growth mindset in supporting our clients’ businesses. Opening a full office in Malaysia represents our commitment to a market that is witnessing a renaissance for start-ups and SMEs as well as growing in importance for international brands,” said Lars Voedisch, Managing Director of PRecious Communications. “We believe Malaysia will prove to be one of the region’s big hitters in the start-up space in the years to come. I am very excited that Neil is joining the PRecious team with his strong market expertise and experience across corporate and technology communications. Together, we are excited to show the world that Southeast Asia is an extremely high-growth region with a robust investor and start-up ecosystem as we progress to the next stage of disruption,” he added.

Fraser joins PRecious Communications Malaysia with vast experience in providing corporate profiling, crisis, risk and reputation services to Malaysian businesses and the public sector. Over the years, his local market experience has included a broad and diverse client portfolio across industry sectors that include the nation’s largest government-linked companies to new business ventures.

“We are breaking the norm of conventional agency thinking by combining fully customised public relations approaches for brands and organisations of diverse backgrounds with different business objectives. This helps to deliver tangible business benefits that you can take proudly straight to the board room. In combination with our expertise in technology and training, including but not limited to spokesperson and crisis preparedness training, this will help to maintain and strengthen our clients’ reputations, ultimately helping safeguard or drive profit margins, and leapfrogging the competition,” said Fraser.

Already a part of the GlobalCom PR Network, an association of 70 independent PR agencies across 60 countries worldwide, PRecious Communications serves as its Southeast Asia’s key representative. PRecious Communications’ clients in Malaysia include the German National Tourism Board, Software AG and Qualtrics, as well as leading start-ups like Carsome, Electrify, Perx and Fave; the latter bringing its users discounted offers on things to eat, do, see, and experience from a single mobile app.

PRecious have demonstrated flexibility to adjust to a fast-paced and agile way of operating to match the start-up style of work and to meet ever-changing needs. Working with start-ups is not for the faint-hearted and requires a nimble and energetic team of practitioners who have the ability to execute multiple campaigns simultaneously, fluidly and expediently, resulting in real business outcomes.”

The Malaysian office is located in Bangsar South, known as an epicentre for start-ups and SMEs, providing a tailor-made environment to fulfil their entrepreneurial ambitions.
