There is no denying how social media has reached across different demographics. However, this isn’t just limited to young, tech-savvy individuals. For instance, though 90.4% of millennials and 77.5% of Gen X are using social media platforms, you also have 48.2% of baby boomers using social media.

These numbers speak for themselves. And because of this, it is not surprising why a lot of brands and businesses are engaged on social media. But is it as simple as everyone thinks? For example, a simple “click here” can make a huge difference when it comes to generating traffic on the link you share on Facebook. You can also get better engagement if you ask them what they think of the content you just shared. Especially when you’re promoting an affiliate program. You gotta make sure that your call to action is very specific and something easy to do. That way, people don’t feel too overwhelmed to do it.

Something like sharing your posts on Facebook or Twitter is an easy thing to do. But if you ask them to record a video testimonial about a product or even to write an in-depth review about something – they’ll be overwhelmed by it because that takes a lot of time to do. Most people just won’t do it.

Handling social media for any brand is a serious matter. Social media marketing can improve your brand’s presence and even make it possible to generate the best results in sales. Give them a reason to follow your social media accounts.

And lastly, you want to adapt to changes. Keep in mind that you won’t always be making the best strategies. Make it a habit to check on your stats. This way, you have a concrete idea of whether or not your current campaign is working or not. Don’t be discouraged if you need to make changes along the way. It is also advisable to do A/B testing if you aren’t too sure about the best strategy.
