Twitter Launching Special #SGElection Emoji

Start Tweeting away using any of the hashtags listed on Twitter!

As you know, the #SGElections are around the corner and conversations are ramping up on Twitter.  

Early this afternoon, Twitter will be launching a special emoji to amplify and empower the ongoing election conversation taking place on the service. The emoji will be available via multiple hashtags and will run from today, 26 June, until 17 July. Here are some hashtag examples to activate the emoji and the animated GIF file you can use for your story:

  • #SingaporeElection
  • #SGElection
  • #SingaporeVotes
  • #SGvotes
  • #GE2020

Reflecting our national colours of red and white, the emoji features the Singapore national flag and the ballot box.
