Thin-slicing is a term I learned from Malcolm Gladwell’s book titled “Blink,” and while in the book it is a skill used for investigative and background checking purposes, I found it an interesting skill to develop in marketing, in building relationships.
We are now closing in on a world with immediate behavior change and minute reaction times. If we want to still connect to people and establish relationships, we have to have the option to do it instantly.
Marketing, after all, is about building relationships.
