Moving Walls Expands Into The German Market: Why Now Is A Good Time To Invest In Out-of-Home and Audience Measurement

Moving Walls announces plans of expansion into the German market to accelerate the adoption of real-time audience measurement in Out-of-Home (OOH) and to power media owners with screen inventory management & automation capabilities.

Guided by a board of industry experts, Moving Walls patented location-based media measurement platform is used to power planning and buying tools called ‘Moving Audiences’ that help advertisers optimise their media spends on outdoor advertising. The platform reduces the time taken dealing with multiple media owners, collating rates and site information, and building media plans manually.

OOH was one of the hardest-hit channels during the first three quarters of 2020, the impact of unpredictable audience movements has shifted the focus of OOH to audience-driven campaigns. There has never been a better time where advertisers do not solely depend on traffic and historical data to plan their campaigns but are now ‘going to where the audiences are going’, and audience measurement, along with programmatic-enabled campaigns plays a crucial role here.

As Germany slowly moves out of the lockdown, with possible further restrictions, programmatic DOOH campaigns offer the flexibility and control to pivot campaigns in mid-flight moments. These are important for brands and screen owners to exert this amount of control over their campaigns.
