How I Dared To Trudge The Road Less Travelled

If you are someone who likes challenges and thinks without a box, entrepreneurship might be for you

I have been in the Virtual Assistant business since 2013, and I can say that I have pretty much seen the different possibilities of earning online and how to do it. As I dared to trudge the road less travelled, I knew right then that it’s not going to be easy.

You might be wondering why I chose this path rather than simply polish my resume, send online applications to various agency sites, wait for a job interview invite, do as the Job Description says at the specified time, and wait for a fixed paycheck month after month. This sounds easier than becoming a business development consultant and a digital skills trainer without income security, right?

I won’t take it against you if you think that my choice of the path leads to a narrower, more difficult journey. But my eyes are focused on a THIN CUP:

  • Time flexibility for my family
  • Help and unite the Filipino online professionals industry
  • Inspire more mothers like me that they can earn from home and/or become CEO’s if they want to
  • Network, make friends and learn from like-minded entrepreneurs
  • Charge what my skills are worth
  • Uncover more about myself
  • Pursue my passion and fulfill my purpose

Choosing the easier way doesn’t mean you’re weaker. It just means you chose another path and I have nothing against it.

However, if you’ve been following me for quite a while, you may have heard me in one of my talks where I cited that each of us has a different definition of success based on what makes us happy and what we want in life. Some of them may fall in any of these categories:

  1. Family and relationships
  2. Spiritual
  3. Career or Business
  4. Passion
  5. Purpose and Advocacy
  6. Financial
  7. Educational

If we find ourselves fulfilled in any one (or more) of these categories, then we are successful in our own ways and that’s all that matters.

But, if you are someone who likes challenges and thinks without a box, entrepreneurship might be for you, may it be online or traditional.

Not sure what business you wanted to build yet? You may find out what your passion is, and how you can earn from it from the comfort of your homes if you want to.

Aside from feeling fulfilled and happy, there are more possibilities ahead of us when we pursue this path. It’s like discovering an entirely new world! We can work on a global scale or locally, depending on your products and target market. The business possibilities are endless and the only limit is our imagination and fear.

If you feel you need to talk to someone who can help give you clarity in developing a business model or just simply to find out what your passion is and how you can earn from it, you may book a FREE call here
