The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) has announced a trio of free live online training sessions, complementing its growing portfolio of online offerings, and enhancing its commitment to supporting life-long learning in the industry.
4As member agencies who register for these 90-minute training sessions will also earn 40 Boomerang points per delegate. With three repeated sessions for each of the 3 courses, a total of over 13 hours training will be offered, for as many as 108 participants. These sessions will be conducted live online in the third quarter of 2020:
- Making Creative Briefs brief and Creative Briefings creative (27, 28 & 29 July)
- How to be the best Account Handler in your Agency (17, 18 & 19 August)
- Selling creative ideas without the big sell (21, 22 & 23 September)
Khairudin Rahim, 4As CEO said, “In today’s agencies, middle level managers have to juggle a multitude of tasks feeding the demands of both digital and off-line communications. In the rush to complete these assignments, they rarely apply critical thinking to ask basic questions such as ‘Why are we doing this new campaign?’, ‘What is the most relevant, persuasive message to send about the brand?’, ‘Do we fully understand the Client’s business and are we asking the right questions, rather than answering the wrong ones?’, ‘How do we ensure that the ideas and creative work will be brilliant and right the first time?’, and ‘How do we sell the ideas so that clients can recognize and appreciate the ideas as efficacious business-type solutions?’”
These are the prerequisites of properly practiced advertising, timeless principles that must be applied, irrespective of media platforms,” Khairudin added.
The 4As is able to offer this online training series by leveraging its strong five year alliance with the Chartered Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) UK. This series of live online training sessions will be conducted by Paul Burns, an IPA UK endorsed trainer. Each session has a limited class size of 12, to maintain a good trainer to participant ratio, maximising interaction and learning potential.
Application details will be sent directly to members and they will have to enrol for these courses via the prescribed forms. Registration for the online training sessions is on a first come, first serve basis with limited seats available.
