This year, Vistar Media expanded its APAC team by 50%, growing from 22 to 33 employees. Sean Cheyney was appointed Head of Retail Media globally, while Alex Waters joined as Director of Solutions Sales, APAC – a first-of-its-kind role aimed at fostering collaborative technical solutions. New hires such as Brittany Lefave, Senior Account Director, and Cody Westaway, Account Executive, reflect Vistar’s focus on building a high-performing, client-focused team.
Expanding Inventory and Brand Reach
Vistar Media onboarded 35 new media owners to its Supply-Side Platform (SSP), adding over 139,000 venues to its inventory. The regional expansion into mainland China and Taiwan further cemented its leadership in programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH).
In Australia, Vistar experienced a 51% increase in brands utilising its Demand-Side Platform (DSP), enabling clients to achieve unprecedented scale and precision in audience targeting.

Driving Innovation: Products and Education
Innovation remained a cornerstone for Vistar in 2024. The launch of Vistar Academy in Australia aimed to educate marketers on programmatic DOOH, while the introduction of auction packages streamlined access to premium DOOH inventory. Enhancements to the Global DSP empowered advertisers to execute sophisticated campaigns with greater efficiency.
