The festive season just got sweeter as Bumble, the women-first dating app, brings its unique charm to Orchard Road, Singapore. Celebrating the launch of Bumble’s Dating Trends 2025, the brand is bridging the gap between online and offline connections with an innovative ice cream cart takeover at Uncle Chieng’s Ice Cream Cart. This December, singles can indulge in sweet treats while exploring Bumble’s newest features and dating insights.
A Sweet Spot for Singles
Riding on Singapore’s love for desserts, Bumble is creating the perfect environment for singles to mingle, bond, and possibly find their “sweet-nificant” other. Starting December 14th, the Bumble Ice Cream Cart will serve complimentary sweet treats to the first 200 visitors daily who present their Bumble profile. Running every weekend until December 29th from 1 PM to 10 PM (or until sold out), this activation will also offer visitors exclusive dating tips inspired by Bumble’s Dating Trends 2025.
With 4 out of 5 Singaporean singles (80%)* hoping to find a long-term partner in the coming year, this initiative provides a cozy setting for meaningful conversations. Adding to the festive excitement, Bumble has introduced an “Ice Cream” badge for user profiles, making it easier for sweet-toothed singles to connect. As Chen Meihui, APAC Communications Lead at Bumble, shares: “By blending Bumble’s empowering approach to dating with moments of in-person connection, we hope to spread some holiday cheer by helping singles navigate their journey to love this festive season.”
Blending Real Connections with Bumble’s Vision
The ice cream takeover complements Bumble’s ongoing efforts to foster authentic connections. Last month, Bumble collaborated with Urban Milers Run Club for a singles’ mixer run. The event, which attracted over 150 participants, highlighted the rising trend of micro-communities in dating. Bumble’s 2025 Dating Trends emphasize the importance of shared passions, with 56% of Gen Z singles agreeing that bonding over common interests fosters intimacy.
A Festive Treat with a Purpose
This holiday season, Bumble’s offline activations are about more than just mingling. They’re designed to build meaningful relationships by turning shared experiences into moments of connection. The ice cream cart takeover and recent running club mixer are just the beginning. Bumble’s new culturally relevant interest badges—ranging from “Run Clubs” to “Houseplants”—offer users more ways to spark fun, engaging conversations.
