A New Dawn for airasia MOVE In a major executive reshuffle, airasia MOVE, previously known as the airasia Superapp, has announced Nadia Omer as its newest Chief Executive Officer, effective from 26 October 2023. She succeeds Mohamad Hafidz Mohd Fadzil, who held the position in an interim capacity since April.

Rooted deeply in her notable achievements in category transition, influencing consumer behaviors, and adding value to business ecosystems, Omer’s dynamic career started with Procter & Gamble. This journey then took her to renowned corporations like Nestle and PepsiCo, where she embraced key leadership roles.
Just before her latest venture with airasia MOVE, Omer played a pivotal role as the Chief Business Officer for Cars24 in Southeast Asia. Her deep-seated expertise is expected to steer airasia MOVE to new horizons, establishing it as the top travel platform in the Asia Pacific, offering unmatched value to its users.

Tony Fernandes, the charismatic CEO of Capital A and the Executive Chairman of MOVE Digital, expressed immense enthusiasm about the company’s future prospects. “With Omer’s arrival, we find ourselves at a crossroads. The announcement of Omer’s appointment coincides with airasia Digital’s rebranding efforts. The digital entity of Capital A transitioned to “MOVE Digital” (MOVE) to accentuate its dedication to the travel domain. Furthermore, the famed airasia Superapp underwent its own brand makeover, evolving into “airasia move.”
Notably, in another strategic move, MOVE welcomed Lim Ben-Jie as the Regional Head of Partnerships and Global Markets. His responsibilities encompass both AirAsia Move and BigPay.
