ASUS Business and Byron McKenzie, a dynamic advertising and digital media agency, have joined forces to roll out two innovative brand films. These cinematic experiences aim to highlight the growth potential of diverse business sectors that capitalise on the transformative power of ASUS upgrades.
Byron McKenzie, headquartered in Hong Kong, has carved a niche for itself in paid media, creative and digital services, as well as SEA marketing. The agency boasts a notable client roster that includes Microsoft, Intel, California Insurance, and ASUS.
Under the banner “Upgrade to Incredible”, the campaign is comprised of two visual narratives directed by renowned filmmaker Paul Moore from Vantage Pictures. Shot in Vietnam, the first film titled “Upgrade to Incredible,” depicts the seamless work of teachers, students, astronauts, farmers, and doctors, all brought together by their decision to upgrade with ASUS.
A second instalment called “Upgrading Education to Incredible,” primarily targets the education sector. It shows educators, kids, and teenagers benefiting from the advanced features of upgraded ASUS education laptops and classroom PCs. With a diverse cast of around 200 talents from India, North America, Asia, and South America, the films seek to convey the global impact and improved connectivity that ASUS upgrades can bring to businesses.
VFX for the films was expertly crafted by Bangkok-based Bassugga Studio, who contributed a complex CGI time-lapse of a skyscraper’s construction. For maximum reach, the films will be unveiled across a wide range of digital channels, including online videos and social media platforms.
Kiefer McKenzie, the executive creative director at ASUS, shared that the campaign’s goal is to shift the perception of upgrades from a mere hardware improvement task to an opportunity that revolutionises every facet of the business. This innovative approach enables ASUS Business to start a dialogue with potential customers and inspire them to reimagine the impact of ‘upgrading’ on their businesses.
