Singapore – Ben & Jerry’s pampered their devoted fans, fondly known as ‘Moo-niacs’, with the annual Free Cone Day celebration today (8 April) as a heartfelt thank-you for their continued support. At Ben & Jerry’s VivoCity Scoop Shop, over 8000 free scoops of ice cream were handed out, featuring fourteen flavours ranging from all-time favourites like the Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Strawberry Cheesecake, to the irresistible limited-edition Dulce Delish! With most flavours halal-certified and non-dairy options available, there was a flavour for every Moo-niac!
Among the flavours that proved to be crowd-pleasers were Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Berry Berry Extraordinary and Coffee Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz, each satisfying the diverse taste buds of Singapore’s ice cream lovers.
Beyond their favourite scoops, ‘Moo-niacs’ were also treated to a lively atmosphere filled with interactive activities. A scoop-stacking challenge, trivia quizzes, and a crossword puzzle awaited those ready to test their knowledge and dexterity. By participating, ‘Moo-niacs’ had the chance to walk away with more than just a belly full of ice cream – special prizes and even a commemorative Polaroid photo were given to dedicated fans who joined in the festivities. The celebration was further elevated by emcees who ensured there was never a dull moment, and Ben & Jerry’s beloved mascot, adding to the fun-filled energy of the day.
One fan’s dedication stood out among the rest – Fariqiel, who queued an impressive 21 times, enjoyed a serving of each of the fourteen available flavours (some more than once)! His enthusiasm extended beyond just the ice cream, as he eagerly participated in the onsite activities, walking away with exclusive prizes and, no doubt, a very happy stomach.
