KUALA LUMPUR, 13 June 2024 – In an innovative move to promote financial literacy, CTOS, Malaysia’s premier credit reporting agency, has inspired over 81,000 Malaysians in the first quarter of 2024 to actively manage their credit scores through a series of engaging contests.
CTOS has awarded over RM22,200 in prizes through these contests, which were held on social media platforms in conjunction with the New Year, Lunar New Year, and Valentine’s Day. Among the premium prizes distributed were Samsung Galaxy Watch6 devices in Graphite and Gold, intricately designed gold bars, and an all-expenses-paid six-day, four-night vacation to Korea.
To participate, individuals needed to check their CTOS Scores within a specified timeframe. This initiative not only encouraged participants to review their credit scores but also allowed them to detect any signs of identity theft or fraud, rectify inaccuracies, enhance their chances of loan approval, and monitor outstanding loan balances for better financial planning.
