Hold onto your hats, folks! DCS Card Centre, the brand formerly celebrated as Diners Club Singapore, is making waves with a monumental rebrand, their largest since inception in 1973. Now, that’s exciting news!
Marking its evolution as a “fintech with heritage”, DCS is on a thrilling quest to morph into a state-of-the-art fintech powerhouse, bringing forward ground-breaking payment solutions while capitalizing on its extensive network and sterling experience.
The metamorphosis of DCS isn’t just a name switch. Originally a franchise of Diners Club International and its sole issuer and acquirer in Singapore, the change signifies DCS’s daring leap towards product expansion with world-renowned card giants like Mastercard, UnionPay, and Visa.
What’s more? This rebrand is also a herald of a spanking new mobile app that furnishes merchants with invaluable transaction data at their fingertips in real-time, alongside avant-garde services such as instant settlement and loans.
Karen Low, the dynamic CEO of DCS, commented on the seismic shifts rippling through the payments landscape due to technological advancements and the rise of fintechs. She exclaimed, “The crossroads of payments has never seen such pulsating excitement! There are colossal growth avenues for DCS as we stride forth in our transformation into a nimble, innovative fintech.”
Stay tuned! DCS is plotting to rope in other global payment networks like JCB to its network of partners. It’s all set to roll out card acquiring services along with Alipay, SG QR, and Wechat Pay payment solutions for its customers.

Crowning its rebrand, DCS has unveiled the DCS Ultimate Platinum Cards in collaboration with Mastercard and UnionPay, with fresh corporate offerings and services directed at SMEs and supply chain financing just around the corner.
Heeding the evolving needs of customers, DCS has launched the DCS Virtual Account (VA), offering a unique account to a cardholder for receiving funds from any bank.
The commitment to spearhead payments innovation remains steadfast. “We are passionately committed to providing incubation and enablement services to hasten access to swift, seamless, and secure payment solutions for consumers and businesses,” remarked a determined Karen Low.
DCS has joined forces with SPRG Singapore, its chosen agency, to devise striking marketing campaigns, creatives for the rebrand, and all accompanying products.
While on the topic of card payment companies broadening their horizons, Mastercard recently introduced Mastercard Strive Malaysia to back the nation’s growth and digitalisation ambitions. In a promising partnership with The Asia Foundation, the programme is set to digitize and bolster the growth of 100,000 micro and small enterprises, with a special focus on women-owned and women-led businesses.
Get ready to ride the fintech wave with DCS Card Centre, blending heritage with innovation, shaping the future of payments!”
