Vikram Bharati, CEO and Founder of Draper Startup House, has been confirmed as one of the speakers at the International Bhutanese Business Seminar, which is happening on Jan 29, 2022. The seminar will be hosted by iHub Bhutan, a platform that aspires to create a robust ecosystem in Bhutan for supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, empowering the next generation of young entrepreneurs. The aim of the seminar will be to figure out how to identify all of the components of the entrepreneur ecosystem and learn about the best practices for putting one together. The seminar’s findings and insights will aid in harnessing potential collaboration among stakeholders and entrepreneurs in order to explore market prospects outside of Bhutan.
“Entrepreneurship is the most powerful tool humanity has to solve the world’s biggest problems. I can’t think of a better cause to dedicate my life to,” said Vikram.
About Vikram Bharati, he is originally from Los Angeles, California, and worked at J.P. Morgan as a corporate banker until taking a six-month vacation in 2014 to travel across South America. Six months grew into two years, prompting him to relocate to Singapore and launch a hospitality company named Tribe Theory, which ultimately rebranded as Draper Startup House. Vikram’s objective is to develop a new category in hospitality as a global chain of startup homes that blends traditional hospitality, micro campuses, and investment houses, with the company now having 20 locations worldwide. He was also the head of REAPRA’s venture capital operations, where he made early-stage investments around Asia. Vikram earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside, and his MBA from the University of Southern California.
