DynaQuest Technology Services Inc. has successfully endorsed the raised funds from the Retro Glow Foam Party for a Cause fundraising event to Humanility. The proceeds reached the amount of Six Hundred Twenty Thousand Philippine Pesos (PHP 620,000.00) for Humanility’s Children’s Education Fund for the upcoming School Year 2022-2023.
The fundraising event, known as Retro Glow Foam Party for a Cause saw more than twenty sponsors and donors – all donate in order to raise the necessary funds for the benefit of Humanility. The event was attended by more than 50 people comprising of DynaQuest employees, Humanility Representatives, sponsors, donors and very special guests.
DynaQuest CEO & Founder Randy Knutson said: “This is our latest and biggest contribution to date, and we are very much thankful to our sponsors, donors and partners who participated in the Foam Party event.” Randy Knutson is also among the board members of Humanility and ever since DynaQuest was founded, the company have pledged and sponsored many events for the benefit of Humanility.
Gail Cruz-Macapagal, the Country Director of DynaQuest, is also the Country Representative of Humanility Philippines. “After two years, it is good to be back in the Humanility Shelter here in Bogo, Cebu. During the pandemic, the children under the care of Humanility were always in my thoughts and prayers as I have inquired about their well-being during the height of the lockdowns.” Gail added: “Now that we are here and have raised a considerable amount for the schooling and continued education of the children, we will continue to sponsor and support many more programs – for the benefit of Humanility.
The event also featured the turnover and blessing of the newly expanded Computer Learning Centre in which the said centre have welcomed fifteen new units of laptops which were also provided by DynaQuest. In 2018, DynaQuest and Humanility jointly established the centre as a facility to enhance the computer literacy of the children and as a means to attend online classes such as basic coding and watching educational shows. During the pandemic surge of 2020 up until early 2022, the computer learning centre was essential to the continued education of the children as they were able attend distance education despite the lockdowns and restrictions.
For many years, DynaQuest has been an active sponsor for Humanility Philippines. The company has sponsored, organized and hosted events dedicated to the holistic care and development of the children under the care of Humanility such as Back to School parties, grant donations, sponsored medical and dental missions, educational and recreational tours, fundraising for Christmas and donations to the repair and rehabilitation of the Humanility Shelter in Bogo Cebu, in the aftermath of typhoon Odette in December 2021.
