You will have access to early deals, free same-day delivery in some locations, speedier returns, priority customer assistance, and more SuperCoins if you pay the Rs. 499 (about $5) annual fee for the VIP membership.
Additionally, Flipkart has made modifications and enhancements to its rewards system known as Flipkart Plus. This program’s newest iteration makes it more simpler for clients to sign up and also improves the value it provides to those customers. More than 20 million people all throughout the country have signed up for the Flipkart Plus service as of this moment.
On the other hand, Amazon Prime is available for an annual fee of Rs. 999 and includes benefits such as free one-day and two-day shipping, early access to sales, unrestricted streaming of films and television shows through Prime Video, ad-free music through Amazon Prime Music, and unlimited storage of images through Amazon images.
As part of its VIP programme, Flipkart has announced a unique perk for members. Beginning on October 8, 2023, members will have the exclusive ability to rescind or reschedule their Cleartrip flight bookings at no additional cost. Notably, Flipkart acquired Cleartrip in 2021 in order to diversify its offerings.
The homegrown e-commerce giant also said that it would create 1 Lakh direct and indirect seasonal jobs to improve its supply chain and meet customer demand during its flagship season sale this year.
