East Ventures, a pioneering and leading venture capital firm in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, has concluded the IndoBuild AI by conducting the Demo Day on 13 March 2025, marking a significant milestone in fostering AI (artificial intelligence) innovation in Indonesia.
Building on the momentum of the recent launch of IndoBuild AI, a dynamic platform for AI innovators to learn, build, and showcase their AI-driven solutions to real-world challenges in Indonesia, the Demo Day served as a stage for promising AI innovators to present their solutions. They demonstrated AI applications in various sectors according to the given themes, such as healthcare, education, lifestyle, government, and agriculture, reflecting AI’s potential to drive economic growth and impacts in Indonesia.
10 curated finalists presented their solutions in front of a panel of experts, including:
- Andrian Kurniady, CTO in Residence at East Ventures
- Izak Jenie, Expert Staff for Health Digitalization of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia
- Hokiman Kurniawan, Co-Founder and CEO of Meeting.ai
This event also earned the support from several key industry stakeholders, including Edwin Hidayat Abdullah, Director General of the Digital Ecosystem Ministry of Communications & Digital Affairs, and Ferro Ferizka Aryananda, Special Advisor to the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs, in which joined and gave keynote addresses.

The selected winners of the first edition of IndoBuild AI:
- The first winner: Lentera.ai is a trusted, AI-driven platform that offers science-based insights on health products, empowering manufacturers, content creators, and marketplaces.
- The second winner: LeaseSync is an LLM-powered platform for automated analysis, consolidation, and management of Indonesian lease agreements.
The winners received a total cash prize of Rp15 million from East Ventures, as well as additional cash prizes, perks, and benefits from IndoBuild AI’s supporting partners, including Alibaba Cloud, AWS, and Google Cloud.
