TUMI is stirring up the autumn breeze with the launch of its Fall 2023 collection at a public pop-up exhibition in Seoul’s prestigious Lotte World Mall Atrium (1F). Open from July 3 to 15, this immersive experience serves as the exclusive launchpad for the season’s complete collection. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s iconic 19 Degree hardside luggage, the event is a testament to TUMI’s signature contours and advanced craftsmanship.
The Essence of Beauty in the Details
Striking modern installations and artwork provide a captivating backdrop to each new piece’s design and features. The 2023 Essentially Beautiful Pop-Up perfectly encapsulates TUMI’s philosophy, where design excellence and performance luxury intertwine, resulting in products that exceed expectations in function, durability, and sustainability.
A Nod to TUMI’s Hypercraft Design
The pop-up’s exterior design is inspired by the TUMI 19 Degree Aluminum’s sculptural facade. Installations weave a story of TUMI’s Hypercraft design concept – a nod to the brand’s focus on quality and high-performance through superior craftsmanship and innovation.
Celebrity Appearance Stirs Excitement
South Korean pro footballer and TUMI Crew member Son Heung-min graced the pop-up’s opening event on July 3, 2023. An exclusive locker-inspired display features memorabilia signed by Son, adding to the exhibition’s excitement.
Highlights of the Pop-Up
Other attractions include a tunnel crafted from colored Tegris, the super-strong material used in the Tegra-Lite® collection. American artist Michael Murphy’s multidirectional perspective sculpture, the TUMI Hypercraft Sculpture, creates an illusion of a 19 Degree Aluminum piece morphing into the TUMI logo as visitors navigate the space.
