Frontier Digital Ventures Limited, a leading operator of online classifieds businesses in underdeveloped, emerging countries or regions, today announced the appointment of three new members to its leadership team: Sylvia Lim, Group HR Director, Justin Seow, Head of Portfolio Strategy and Houyi Sow, Corporate Development Manager.
The new team members join FDV, headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, during an exciting period of rapid growth for the company. The company has recently acquired Fincaraíz (a real-estate marketplace in Colombia), and Avito and Tayara (general classifieds portals in Morocco and Tunisia, respectively).Shaun Di Gregorio, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FDV, noted that the appointments will accelerate FDV’s plans for rapid growth and facilitate the strategic expansion of the company’s operations.

Sylvia, the new Group HR Director, comes to FDV from the REA Group Asia, where she served as a strategic HR Business Partner for Thailand and managed the delivery of all operational and transactional HR activities across Asia. As a recognized thought leader and trusted advisor, Sylvia will be responsible for managing and leveraging the talent and experience across FDV’s markets as well as developing a strategy to build a world-class HR function across the group.
As Head of Portfolio Strategy, Justin’s main focus at FDV will be to unlock and extract value for the company’s partners. Before joining FDV, Justin was a Senior Economist at the central bank where he oversaw the macro implications of the Construction and Property sector, allowing him to be at the forefront of policy setting.
As Corporate Development Manager, Houyi will be responsible for identifying new opportunities to strengthen and expand FDV’s position in current and new markets.
Prior to joining FDV, Houyi was an investment professional in COPE Private Equity managing end-to-end deal execution ranging from deal origination, evaluation, and portfolio monitoring in industries relating but not limited to Technology (e-commerce, logistics, IoT) and Consumer Retail.
