foodpanda Malaysia has teamed up with Resorts World Genting (RWG), the premier integrated resort above the clouds, to launch the first food delivery service at the popular tourist destination. Customers can now enjoy food from top restaurants, including Flavours of Genting and Medan Selera, without the hassle of queuing. Pre-ordered food can be picked up later, or it can be delivered right to the customers. First World Plaza, SkyAvenue, Genting Premium Outlet, Gohtong Jaya Baru, and Resorts World Awana are just a few of the RWG locations that foodpanda’s recognisable delivery partners, dressed in signature pink, will be stopping at to pick up delicious meals.
Bernard Chong, Director of Marketing at foodpanda Malaysia, said: “We are honoured that RWG recognises foodpanda’s strong brand presence and expertise in personalising new experiences for our vendors and customers. This ultimately gives everyone the added level of convenience and enjoyment of what RWG has to offer.”
Synergies Between foodpanda Malaysia and RWG Create an Unparalleled Experience
foodPanda Malaysia discovered synergies with RWG, which provides a wide range of award-winning dining options and an unmatched entertainment and leisure experience, as an organisation that thrives on operational excellence and technology. “Resorts World Genting is honoured and excited to be able to work with a big quick-commerce brand like foodpanda and hopes this food delivery partnership brings more amazing experience to our guests. We are always open to any partnerships that will enrich our guests’ overall experience,” said Spencer Lee, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Genting Malaysia Berhad.
Flavours of Genting is one of the eateries that can be found on the foodpanda app and website. Customers can order its signature fresh pineapple tarts and durian biscuits for direct delivery to their location. Among the other retailers are Harry Ramsden, Motorino Pizzeria @ Highline, Jom Makan, Cha Chaan Teng, The Bakery, Il Lago, and Ayu Awana.
Flash Mob and Giveaways Celebrate the Partnership
30 dancers entertained guests at the SkyAvenue last week as part of a flash mob organised by foodpanda Malaysia to mark the partnership’s launch, to the sounds of K-pop supergroup Blackpink. They then distributed freebies and branded merchandise. Due to the collaboration between foodpanda and RWG, tourists will have more time to take in the sights, sounds, and crisp highland air.
