The community-led developer event hosted more than 30 plus sessions, workshops and showcases covering the latest developments in Android, web, machine learning and Cloud technologies. Among those present on the day to share their knowledge were industry experts such as artificial intelligence engineer Leong Lai Fong, as well as Google Developer Experts and Googlers alike. More than 800 people were in attendance at the event, making it the biggest DevFest ever organised by GDG KL.
“We are very happy to see how far we’ve come in the last 10 years, and even more so, how much the community has grown. This year’s DevFest is the biggest we’ve ever had, and we are really excited to see our local developers continue to come together and help each other grow in various ways,” said Lim Shang Yi, Google Developer Expert and GDG KL organiser.
