In an important development for the global tech and marketing industry, Hotwire Global Communications, an eminent tech, PR, and marketing firm, announced the successful integration of GetIT, a business-to-business (B2B) technology marketing agency located in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This move comes one year after Hotwire’s acquisition of GetIT in July 2022.
Starting July 11th, GetIT’s offices based in Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Japan will join Hotwire’s existing 11 global offices. This integration significantly enhances Hotwire’s international reach, particularly into the dynamic APAC region.
The merger is poised to bolster Hotwire’s existing reputation, relationship, and revenue services. With GetIT now part of its global network, Hotwire will fortify its offerings in digital marketing, content production, account-based marketing, and public relations.

Existing Hotwire clients like Informatica are already reaping the benefits of these enhanced capabilities. This move also expands Hotwire’s impressive client portfolio, adding high-profile enterprise technology brands like Google Cloud, Palo Alto Networks, Telekom Malaysia, Amazon Web Services, and SAP Concur.
Heather Kernahan, the global chief executive officer of Hotwire, enthusiastically commented on the integration. “Growing our presence in APAC reflects our ambition for accelerated global expansion and continued support for our clients in navigating the current tech landscape via our reputation, relationship, and revenue services,” she stated.
She added, “We’re thrilled to extend the Hotwire footprint across Asia Pacific with our expanded capabilities and specialized communications and marketing services for technology and innovation leaders.”
With the addition of the four new offices in Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Japan, Hotwire’s network expands to over 400 employees and 15 offices worldwide. In the APAC region alone, it now boasts over 40 employees across six offices, inclusive of the existing Hotwire offices in Australia.
Additionally, GetIT’s founder and chief executive officer, Anol Bhattacharya, will transition to the role of managing director of marketing for Hotwire Asia Pacific.
This news highlights the growing trend of corporations seeking to expand their footprint in the APAC region, a market brimming with potential. Notably, the global alternative investment firm Investcorp recently invested US$100 million for a majority stake in SEC Newgate, a global strategic communications and advocacy group. This investment is aimed at accelerating SEC Newgate’s development strategy, particularly its expansion in the EMEA and APAC region, through both organic growth and mergers and acquisitions.
Since its delisting from the London Stock Exchange in March 2022 and with the addition of Three Hills Capital Partners as minority shareholders, SEC Newgate has seen considerable growth and expansion in the U.S. and Central and South America through strategic acquisitions.
