Singapore’s renowned employment giant, JobStreet, in partnership with SEEK, has unveiled its latest venture, seekMAX. This free-to-access in-app learning platform is set to redefine the professional development landscape in Singapore.
A treasure trove of knowledge, seekMAX offers its users a vast library of over 1,100 educational videos. These aren’t just any videos; they encompass a range of topics from career guidance, specialized industry insights, to leadership nuances. Notably, the platform will premiere its exclusive series, ‘Salary Squad’, where local influencers demystify compensation queries.
The platform’s rich content is a result of strategic collaborations with global giants like Microsoft, TED, Deutsche Welle, and media powerhouses such as Bloomberg, The New York Times, and Tech in Asia. Local influencers, including Annette Lee and Dr. Jay Kay, also contribute their expertise.

In a bid to foster community engagement, JobStreet has joined forces with the National Youth Council. This partnership aims to ignite discussions, stimulate thought leadership, and facilitate meaningful conversations within the seekMAX community. This community is not just a hub for learning but also a nexus for networking, allowing users to connect with industry stalwarts, discuss career trajectories, and stay abreast of industry shifts.
Chew Siew Mee, the driving force behind JobStreet Singapore, emphasized the urgency of upskilling as Singapore steers into the Industry 4.0 era. “While organizations are ramping up employee training, individuals must also take the reins of their professional growth,” remarked Siew Mee. She further highlighted a recent survey revealing that a staggering 75% of professionals are turning to digital platforms for work-related learning.
On the other hand, Lewis Ng, the COO for Asia at SEEK, reiterated their commitment to bridging the employer-jobseeker divide. “With initiatives like the SEEK Better Career Fair and seekMAX, we’re inching closer to our vision of being Asia’s top digital career hub,” stated Ng.
Mark your calendars as JobStreet Singapore is set to showcase seekMAX at the upcoming SEEK Better Career Fair on August 19 and 20.
