Pluckk, a rising name in the fresh food-tech sector, has made a strategic move with the appointment of industry veteran Kunwarjeet Grover as the head of growth. Grover’s responsibilities at Pluckk will encompass driving revenue across various online and offline channels and spearheading the sales and growth teams.
This appointment came to fruition based on Grover’s impressive background in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors. Pluckk CEO and co-founder, Pratik Gupta, commented on this recent development. He expressed his conviction that Grover’s deep understanding of these sectors would substantially benefit Pluckk’s operations. Furthermore, Grover’s insights are expected to refine the company’s product portfolio and distribution strategies for both online and offline channels, including e-commerce, modern trade, and general trade.

Grover joins Pluckk from Honasa Consumer, the parent company of Mamaearth, where he was in charge of building and leading the profit and loss of marketplace business for brands like Mamaearth, The Derma Co., and Bblunt. Prior to his stint at Honasa Consumer, Grover had successful associations with industry stalwarts such as Himalaya Herbal Healthcare, CavinKare, Phillips Lighting, and Havells India.

With an extensive career spanning over 12 years, Grover has honed his expertise in various facets of business, such as profit and loss management, business development, online vendor management, and business planning or implementation. He is expected to bring these skills to his role at Pluckk, aiming to create an industry-first story in the fresh food-tech category.
