After six intensive months of development, the Mantle Network has finally unveiled its mainnet at the Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC) in Paris. Throughout its trial period, the network successfully processed over 14 million on-chain transactions and deployed over 140,000 smart contracts. The network also proudly announced having garnered 48,000 developers and connected with nearly 700,000 unique wallet addresses, maintaining over 157,000 active addresses per month.
The Evolution of High-Performance, Robust Security, and Economical Fees
The Mantle Network, which boasts one of the world’s largest on-chain treasuries, breaks away from conventional layer-1 (L1) chains. Unlike its monolithic predecessors that send all transactions through the same layer, the Mantle Network takes a novel approach by utilizing a modular chain. In this innovative architecture, execution, data availability, consensus, and settlement are independently segregated into different layers.
Backed by EigenLayer, a highly-regarded Ethereum restaking protocol, Mantle Network promises high performance, lower data availability costs, and security. Mantle’s innovative modular architecture also allows it to stay at the forefront of cutting-edge developments. Unlike traditional L1 chains that require meticulous planning for upgrades, Mantle can quickly adapt by replacing modular components, potentially making it the launching pad for future Ethereum advancements.

The Vibrant Ecosystem of Mantle Network Mainnet
The Mantle Network Mainnet Alpha enters the stage boasting partnerships with significant players such as Game7, HyperPlay, and EduDAO, among others. Additionally, Mantle Network has created a companion NFT, “Citizens of Mantle,” in collaboration with international visual artist Chen Man, attracting a broader audience.
The Mantle Ecosystem is primarily governed by the Mantle Governance, one of the world’s largest decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), fostering a more collaborative decentralized economy. Further reinforcing the strength of the Mantle Network is the DAO-approved Mantle EcoFund. A $200 million capital pool created in partnership with leading venture capital firms, it is set to be one of the largest ecosystem funds in the industry.
