Sydney, December 5, 2023 – Marketing In Asia is thrilled to report on the latest strategic move by Mediahub, a leading media agency and part of the IPG Mediabrands network. Following its significant growth in Australia, Mediahub is now setting its sights on New Zealand, aiming to offer a comprehensive trans-Tasman service to its clients.
The agency’s expansion includes the establishment of offices in Auckland and Christchurch, where Mediahub NZ will harness a blend of global Mediahub and Mediabrands tools, technology, and processes, along with local expertise in AI, data, content, performance, and digital. This move is hot on the heels of Mediahub’s recent global brand acquisitions, including New Balance and Bosch.
Mediahub NZ will be formed with a robust team of approximately 25 media and digital experts from Attivo Group’s full-service agencies Farrimond in Auckland, and Harvey Cameron in Christchurch. Attivo Group is a key partner of Mediahub in ANZ.

Squillace commented on the formation of Mediahub NZ, emphasizing the strategic use of established, local, performance-focused teams to respond to changing market conditions. She stated, “With proven experience across the NZ media sector, the outstanding new Mediahub NZ team brings agility, new market thinking and a laser focus on generating business results, which we know brands and businesses need more than ever in the current environment.”
She further added, “Expanding to NZ has always been an integral part of our ANZ growth strategy and what our clients are asking for. Not only will it resonate with our teams, but also our new global clients like New Balance and Bosch. Having this NZ capability as part of our core offering is incredibly exciting, and an appealing new offering for our business, clients and prospects alike.”
Cam Murchison, CEO of Attivo, highlighted the unique combination of NZ media and digital expertise with Mediahub’s global scale. He said, “Combining the company’s existing NZ media and digital smarts with Mediahub’s global tools and scale will provide an unparalleled offering to NZ market.”
Murchison also noted that Harvey Cameron and Farrimond’s creative, digital, and strategic teams will continue operating under their respective agency brands, collaborating closely with Mediahub NZ’s media teams to maintain a full-service capability.
This expansion signifies a major step for Mediahub, not only in terms of geographic growth but also in enhancing its service offerings. The integration of local talent with global resources positions Mediahub NZ as a formidable player in the trans-Tasman media landscape, poised to meet the evolving needs of the market amidst economic challenges.
