Meltwater, a renowned name in media intelligence and data analytics, has unveiled the addition of two senior executives to its team, aiming to fortify its foothold in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Huixian Yang, with an impressive track record at tech giants like Google, SAP, Microsoft, and Fuji-Xerox, has been appointed as Meltwater’s Customer Experience Director for APAC. Her data-centric approach is anticipated to redefine Meltwater’s global customer success strategy.
Meanwhile, Jeff Piniros, previously associated with Salesforce, will assume the role of Sales Development Director for APAC. His primary focus will be on pipeline creation, revenue acceleration, and mentoring the upcoming sales talent.

Southeast Asia and Japan remain central to Meltwater’s regional growth strategy, with the Philippines emerging as a significant market. Esteemed brands like PGAG, Shang Properties, and Inquirer.net have joined the Meltwater clientele.
PGAG, a leading comedy brand under the Hepmil Media Group, leverages Meltwater’s influencer management platform, Klear, to consolidate creator data across various social platforms. In contrast, luxury real estate giant Shang Properties taps into Meltwater’s AI-driven Engage and Explore services to gauge its brand perception. Furthermore, broadcasting powerhouse Inquirer.net utilizes Meltwater’s Engage to monitor the performance of its diverse brand portfolio on social media.
