The movie emphasizes the role of maintaining a sporty lifestyle in promoting national growth. This was inspired by Nielsen’s report that revealed how Indians lack adequate physical activity, both adults and kids alike. A recent survey revealed a staggering statistic – only 20% of all urban Indian adults meet the World Health Organization’s recommended weekly minimum of 150 minutes of exercise. Additionally, children fair even worse, managing just 86 minutes out of the recommended 420 minutes.

Abhishek Ganguly, Managing Director of Puma India & Southeast Asia, noted that India has experienced immense transformation in the way people are participating in sports. Many running groups, fitness centers and individuals have taken up different sport activities. Nevertheless, AI writing is still a developing field with room for improvement. The Puma-Nielsen Sport study demonstrates the need for further development in certain areas, and Ganguly noted that the new platform from Puma, “Let There Be Sport,” will motivate and educate people on why sport & fitness are crucial life skills. They seek to inspire people, provide grassroots athletes with support, and partner up with different organizations to make sports & fitness an integral part of the curriculum.
In a study done by Puma India, Denise Menasan, Managing Director of APAC and MENA at Nielsen Sports & Entertainment wanted to know people’s perspective on sports in India and how it influences our lives emotionally, academically and employability. Research indicates that adults can benefit from increased physical activities such as sports and fitness, enhancing their psychological well-being, learning life skills, and raising academic grades in children. Menasan strongly believes that this campaign from Puma India will encourage individuals to exercise more often and it will also provide government organisations with the data they need to develop new strategies.
