Panasonic Holdings Corp’s Global CEO, Yuki Kusumi, recently emphasized the importance of China’s supply chain, underscoring the country’s relevance as a high-priority market. This statement comes amidst increasing geopolitical concerns and the evolving need for businesses to establish robust supply chains in diverse regions.
Speaking at a roundtable discussion in Tokyo, Kusumi addressed the outcomes of the recent Group of Seven (G7) leaders’ meeting held in Hiroshima. The meeting spotlighted the necessity for companies to “de-risk” but not entirely “decouple” from China, the world’s second-largest economy.
