Redhill, a leading worldwide communications firm, announced the appointment of seasoned marketing executive, Manisha Seewal, as its president. The strategic move comes as part of Redhill’s ambitious plans to enhance its operational functions and business, evolving into a comprehensive, integrated communications agency.
Seewal joined the Redhill team in November 2022 as a senior advisor, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience. She boasts a rich portfolio in marketing, digital transformation, and market expansion, leading multiple digital-first initiatives in Singapore, such as the nation’s inaugural ‘Netflix for Cars’ subscription programme and the first life insurance chatbot.
Prior to her stint at Redhill, Seewal held the chief marketing officer (CMO) position at Gumtree, Carsguide, and Autotrader. There, she took charge of the brands’ marketing and editorial digital makeover in Australia.
Before her immersion in the world of startups, Seewal marked her leadership footprint at Southeast Asian car marketplace Carro. As the first group CMO, she amplified the marketing team from a mere trio to over 70 professionals across Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia. In a concurrent role, Seewal served as the CEO of Jualo.com, Indonesia’s third-largest e-classified marketplace, later acquired by Carro.
Seewal’s experience also extends to the financial sector, leading marketing teams at global institutions like Tokio Marine, HSBC, and AVIVA.
Jacob Puthenparambil, Redhill’s CEO, expressed his enthusiasm over Seewal’s appointment, confident in her ability to fortify Redhill’s capabilities amidst a crucial growth phase.
