Prudential Hong Kong, one of the leading insurers, has announced the strategic appointments of Candy Au Yeung as Chief Customer Operation Officer and Felix Fung as Chief Product Officer. These changes were effective from June 1 and July 1 respectively.
As part of the Prudential Hong Kong Executive Committee, both will be reporting directly to Lawrence Lam, Prudential Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Officer. These new appointments are set to spotlight the ongoing transition and integration within the organization, aiming to bolster customer experience and ensure a continual influx of innovative products.
In her role, Au Yeung will be responsible for enhancing the customer experience, overseeing an array of operational functions that include underwriting, customer services, health assessments, claims, and policy administration. Au Yeung is no stranger to Prudential, having previously served in senior customer servicing and policy administration roles. Her vast sector experience includes roles at Manulife Hong Kong, AIA HK, Bupa HK, MetLife HK, and Zurich Insurance.
On the other hand, Fung, a veteran in the insurance industry, brings with him two decades of experience in product management, innovation, and actuarial and finance. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to leverage opportunities and further enhance Prudential Hong Kong’s product development and innovation capabilities. His extensive career spans significant roles at AIA Hong Kong, HSBC Life, AXA, and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Lawrence Lam expressed his delight at welcoming Au Yeung and Fung back to Prudential, highlighting their successful leadership track records in their respective fields.
