An improved protection option for pregnancy insurance, PRUMy Child Plus, was introduced by Prudential Assurance Malaysia (PAMB). This new programme offers complete protection for mother and child beginning at 13 weeks of pregnancy and continuing through the child’s 100th birthday.
Comprehensive Coverage for Mother and Baby
The comprehensive prenatal plan PRUMy Child Plus offers coverage for both the mother and the unborn child. In order to ensure that children receive ongoing support and therapy during their early childhood to ensure their wellbeing and quality of life, the plan also covers yearly treatments for developmental disorders up to the age of seven.
PRUMy Child Plus is not a one-time payment made upon diagnosis, according to Eric Wong, Chief Marketing and Partnerships Distribution Officer of PAMB. Instead, it offers ongoing assistance to mother and child, making it a wonderful gift for parents who want to protect their child’s life from conception all the way through old age.
Campaign Launch: “This is What Love Looks Like”
Prudential started a touching campaign called “This is What Love Looks Like” to introduce PRUMy Child Plus. By making “pregnancy” synonymous with “PRUMy Child Plus,” the campaign hopes to draw attention to mothers’ ardent affection for their unborn children. The advertising campaign shares the experiences of real mothers and women who will become mothers. These tales demonstrate how every woman’s journey has been wrought with joy, sacrifice, perplexity, excitement, and more. The intense love they have for their child has been the one constant throughout all of their journeys.

The campaign is being carried out across a number of platforms, including OOH in Peninsular, Sabah, and Sarawak, digital (social media, Google discovery, and Xaxis banners), Addressable TV with Astro, and dynamic creative optimisations using DOOH. The campaign began on February 7 and will last until April.
Naga DDB Tribal’s Chief Creative Officer, Alvin Teoh, said, “I think some of the most amazing stories are already out there. All we need to do is pay attention to them, give it its due respect, colour it a little and serve it back to the audience. This is for the lovely mums who shared their stories with us over dinner and for all mums who loved us even before we came out into the world. Thanks for the sacrifices and the love. It’ll never be enough, but we hope we’ve done justice to your stories.”
