Weekend tours starting September 2023 will offer visitors an immersive experience into the world of urban farming. Besides marvelling at the technology and techniques behind growing pesticide-free veggies, attendees will get to see firsthand how such an endeavor is feasible within city confines.
The EduFarm not only serves as a production site but also hosts an experience center and activity room. These spaces are meticulously designed to educate families, especially youngsters, about the incredible world of vegetable farming, right in the heart of the city.
Exploiting controlled environment agriculture (CEA) and innovative digital technologies, the EduFarm symbolizes the future of urban food production. Gerard Lim, Agroz Group’s founder and CEO, shared his enthusiasm about their collaboration with AEON. He hopes to weave the farm into AEON shoppers’ regular experiences, thereby promoting a deeper understanding of how clean and healthy vegetables are cultivated.
