Catcha Digital, a prominent advertising and digital media firm, has announced the appointment of Shireen Chia Yin Ting as its new independent non-executive director effective from 31 May 2023. Chia replaces Patrick Grove, who ascended to the chairman’s role in March of the same year.
Currently, Chia holds dual roles – she’s the CFO of MYAirline, a startup airline in Malaysia, and serves as the independent non-executive director at Securemetric, a company specializing in digital security solutions.

Before MYAirline, Chia was the Group CFO for Tune Hotels, followed by a stint as the General Manager at Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering. However, her longest tenure was with Air Asia, where she served in various roles including Regional Management Accountant, Regional Director Procurement, and Group Head for In-Flight Catering over an 11-year period.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Chia commented, “I am honoured to join Catcha Digital. I look forward to driving Catcha Digital to new heights with our dynamic team.” Chairman Grove also extended his warm welcome, praising Chia’s vast industry experience as a valuable asset for Catcha Digital’s future.
