In line with its future-oriented vision, Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) announces vital leadership reshuffling to bolster its priorities and ensure success in the fast-evolving Media and Entertainment (M&E) industry.
In this strategic restructuring, Danish Khan is assigned as Business Head for Sony LIV and Studio NEXT, with a primary focus on strengthening digital initiatives. Neeraj Vyas, on the other hand, will helm SPNI’s Hindi General Entertainment Channels (GEC) as Business Head for SET, SAB, PAL, and Hindi Movies.
Reporting to the MD & CEO of SPNI, Danish and Neeraj’s new roles will be effective from June 1, 2023, with a smooth transition plan underway.

Danish’s remarkable leadership has seen the digital business grow by over 300%, and the monthly active users quadruple post the launch of Sony LIV 2.0, marking one of the industry’s most successful turnarounds. His aim now is to broaden the digital business’s reach domestically and globally, ensuring the network’s sustained growth.
Neeraj Vyas, an SPNI veteran with over twenty-seven years of experience, will steer SET’s business strategy and collaborate with the team to enhance its brand and market presence. Neeraj’s leadership has seen SAB, PAL, and Hindi Movies maintain market dominance, and SAB’s exceptional growth has resulted in a remarkable brand reorientation, making it one of the most successful brand transformations in recent times.
