Are you feeling stagnant or do you have dreams but are scared to take a leap of faith? We all go through this. When presented any opportunity, some automatically look for ways to tackle these opps while others analyze themselves right out of the game.
I learned early that life isn’t about playing it safe. The juiciest and most rewarding accomplishments are the ones that neither you nor anyone else thought were possible. However, it’s not about being reckless or impulsive – in fact, it’s the exact opposite. You need to respect the consequences and have high degrees of calculated executions. The main difference between the two trains of thought are strategy and preparedness – when you’ve done these enough and take the chance, then all you have to do is be content to live with the results.
It’s not going to be easy and it certainly isn’t for everyone but no one in history ever achieved anything extraordinary without taking a chance. You write the script every day for the stories that you’ll eventually tell your grandkids. Will those be true life experiences or purely fiction?
We all have one life – take calculated risks, pull the trigger and own the results.
