Singapore-based online learning academy, The Next Level (TNL) has launched Amplify, a content publishing platform that enables creators to triple their output through a series of intuitive tools, and automated functions for the modern-day content creator.
Video content has gained massive momentum in the education space since 2020 with the pandemic as a catalyst. Google/Talk Shoppe reported that up to 58% of respondents used digital video to learn new skills as part of the new normal, and the Manpower Research and Statistics Department of Singapore reported that 73.4% of online learners surveyed in Singapore want e-learning as a permanent option.
Following the successful launch of TNL’s learning platform, The Nexus, in September 2021, TNL has worked closely with 200-course creators. Though video content was the staple of their learning resources, the process was time-consuming and complicated, despite working with subject matter experts.
Developed by TNL, Amplify started its open beta on 21 December 2021 and addresses the challenge of creating and publishing content effectively, and efficiently.
Video, audio, images, and text are the 4 main media types. Amplify recognises that video content done right can serve as a “master copy” that can be repurposed for the other 3. Repurposing allows content creators to present their work in different formats from snippets to its entirety to appeal to wider audiences.
“Amplify is a GAME CHANGER! It has helped me and my team to save so much time in video editing and hence, we’re able to publish so much more content across all of our social media platforms even though each of them focuses on different types of content. You don’t have to be an expert to use Amplify as you can simply upload, optimize your videos and publish them with just a few simple steps. Amplify has definitely helped to make our brand stand out and increase our social media presence! Great work to the Amplify team!”
Says Ain Amelina, who has supported world-class leaders such as Tony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki, Sir Richard Branson, T Harv Eker, Gary Vee and many more. Ain has also shared the stage with Nick Vujicic, Blair Singer, Sam Cawthorn, Robert Riopel, Singapore Soccer Legends Fandi Ahmad, Wushu Gold Medalist Vincent Ng and many more.
Beyond repurposing video content, Amplify has identified pain points in the video creation process. Editing, subtitling, and meeting format requirements to upload on multiple sites can be arduous in their own right. These challenges are compounded when users have to finesse different disconnected platforms. Through Amplify, everything is done intuitively, with real-time performance tracking on the platform. This streamlined video creation workflow drastically cuts what would normally take 6 hours from edit to upload to just 2 hours.
“Amplify has always been the tool that I needed back in 2017 when I started as a content creator, but it was never developed by anyone until now. Now that I have the ability to build a tool like Amplify, I want it to be able to fulfil all the needs of content creators who are creating content to build their business, brand or followers, and help them minimize their effort and maximize their results. Amplify as of now already packs a full range of powerful features for creators, but in our eyes, it is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to share more details of more powerful tools and strategies that we can bring to the table in the near future to come so that all content creators can achieve their dreams at a much faster pace.” Says Chris Chen, Head of Tech and Co-Founder of TNL.
Amplify is offering a discounted rate for their subscriptions during their beta phase (up to 2022 Q3 )
