A clarion call has been sounded by The One Club for Creativity, welcoming submissions for the 21st edition of the Young Guns competition, the singular global competition celebrating young creatives under 30. Offering a platform for burgeoning talents, Young Guns is known for its cross-disciplinary approach, allowing professionals and freelancers alike to submit an amalgamation of their work.
The submission process begins now, with an early deadline of June 29, 2023, followed by the regular deadline on July 13, and the final deadline on July 27, 2023. The illustrious competition draws entries from 45 countries and the victors will be chosen by a panel comprising past Young Guns winners and other creative luminaries.

This year’s Young Guns sees the introduction of the Levine/ Leavitt Young Guns Assistance Program, a financial aid scheme aimed at helping illustrators and photographers who may struggle to pay entry fees. Furthermore, the COLORFUL grant program, devised to assist young BIPOC creatives worldwide, has extended its submission deadline until May 31, 2023. One fortunate COLORFUL applicant will receive a year of mentorship from Sunday Afternoon, a minority and female-owned creative studio.
The winning entrants of the Young Guns 21 will be rewarded with the iconic Young Guns Cube, a one-year membership of The One Club, and a profile on the Young Guns website among other accolades. Past winners, such as graphic designers Stefan Sagmeister and Jessica Walsh, have gone on to make significant impacts in their fields.
