Vishwanath Nair has been appointed as the Vice President of Revenue for upGrad Abroad, effective from December 2023. This appointment marks a significant step in upGrad’s ambitious scale-up plans both in India and on the global stage.

In his new role, Vishwanath Nair will focus on exploring innovative avenues to secure a dominant market position for upGrad Abroad. He will also oversee the growth in enrolment numbers, leveraging his consumer-first approach to strategically diversify product offerings and enhance the study abroad portfolio.

A Veteran with a Proven Track Record
Bringing over two decades of experience, Vishwanath is an industry veteran known for his significant contributions in Edtech, Banking, Insurance, and Real Estate sectors. Prior to joining upGrad, he held pivotal roles in companies like Whitehat Jr, managing markets across India, UK, ANZ, and the Middle East, as well as Meritnation and Talentedge, now part of upGrad. His expertise in business development and revenue-building strategies positions him as an ideal leader for upGrad’s ambitious journey.
