Malaysia, 7 November 2024 – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has announced the promotion of Scott Armul to Executive Vice President, Global Portfolio and Business Units. Effective January 1, 2025, Armul will officially assume his new role, reporting directly to Vertiv CEO Giordano (Gio) Albertazzi. This strategic move is expected to support Vertiv’s ongoing expansion efforts in the high-demand digital infrastructure landscape, ensuring customers have access to advanced, reliable solutions.

Armul will spearhead Vertiv’s global portfolio strategy, guiding growth across key solution areas including thermal management, power management, IT systems, and infrastructure solutions. Working alongside Stephen Liang, who will focus on the technological vision as Vertiv’s Chief Technology Officer, Armul aims to elevate Vertiv’s service capabilities while addressing rapid shifts driven by AI and the digital economy.

Since joining Vertiv in 2009, Armul has held various roles, steadily advancing through the ranks and strengthening his expertise across strategic areas. He initially joined as an MBA intern in business planning and development before transitioning to a full-time strategic planner. Over the years, Armul has contributed as Senior Marketing Manager for Vertiv services, Director of AC Power Product Management, Vice President and General Manager of DC Power and Outside Plant Solutions for the Americas, and Vice President of Global DC Power and Outside Plant.
Currently, as Vice President of Global Strategic Accounts, Armul has successfully driven substantial order growth while aligning with Vertiv’s growth-oriented goals. His extensive experience equips him to lead Vertiv’s global portfolio strategy with a balanced approach to innovation and customer needs.
