Zoho Corporation, a major provider of SaaS, is extending its reach in rural India by opening new tech hubs there as well as in the rural communities of Tirunelveli and Madurai in Tamil Nadu and in Uttar Pradesh. To support a distributed workforce, Vembu chose to use a hub-and-spoke office model. The spoke offices can only hold up to 100 employees, while the hub offices can hold 1,000 or more.
