Marketing In Asia, an op-ed marketing magazine that empowers Asia with marketing ideas, today announces the appointment of Geogyiana Shahirah as its Editor-in-Chief. Tasked with overseeing the magazine’s editorial direction and content, she will take responsibility for the magazine’s operations globally.
Prior to joining Marketing In Asia, Geogyiana was the Managing Partner of NSE – Social Media Manager, a Malaysian-based social media management agency in which she was responsible for the agency’s strategic growth and also the end-to-end operation of its 40 B2B customers across Asia.
Commenting on the appointment, Azleen Abdul Rahim, Co-Founder of Marketing In Asia said, “Geogy can bring this magazine to the next level, this is what I and the rest of the team believe in. The foundation is already there for her to grow it further. Unlike other magazines out there, Marketing In Asia probably is the only magazine to have a young and dynamic Editor-in-Chief.”
Geogyiana, currently Marketing In Asia’s Editor for Malaysia, succeeds Azleen Abdul Rahim.
