Known to be a department which does not produce typical University academics, but starring graduates with a multiformity, the Department of Marketing Management of University of Sri Jayewardenepura has been able to mark their name in the University arena.
Amidst the strenuous number of events organised by the Department of Marketing Management the spotlight event ‘VIBES of Marketing’ is a name worth remembering. VIBES being a stage with a variety of aesthetic and other creative skills of internal and external Marketing Management undergraduates and graduates, have made history for the unique taste of great conformity, collaboration and dedication.
With the motto of “Dare to be Different”, the department has all its way been an endlessly changing horizon with the prime belief of standing together with creativity. As a result, VIBES of Marketing was first staged in 2007 displaying the hidden talents of the Marketing Undergraduates and thereby relaunched in 2012 as the first ever Outdoor experience at the arena. Thereon, VIBES of Marketing was known to be a brand rather than a mere event and every year is organised with strength and teamwork of the department.
This time, in 2020, VIBES will unveil at the University premises for the 9th time in its history, with a blend of quality aesthetics, diversified skills and creative notions backed up by the courage and heartfelt guidance by a dedicated set of professors and lecturers headed up by a novelty filled Team Leader, Prof. Amila Jayarathne.
Events come and go, but experiences remain for a lifetime, this is what happens at VIBES of Marketing. This time, undoubtedly the history of VIBES will be re-written by the variety of extraordinary talents and experiences this coming 9th of January (Thursday) 2020 at the Ground premises of University of Sri Jayewardenepura and we Japura Marketers cordially invite each and everyone of you to witness VIBES 2020 unveiled in grace.
